Thousand Islands

Beyond the bustling megapolitan of Jakarta, lies a paradise just by its coast. The Thousand Islands (officially named Kepulauan Seribu) are a string of islands located in the north of Jakarta’s coastline. Despite being near the busiest city province of Jakarta, Thousand Islands retains its natural beauty and clear waters, unspoiled yet within easy reach from Jakarta. Thousand Islands has around 150 islands, of which 45 are classified as tourist destinations. Six of these islands are developed with facilities for accommodations.
