Description

Get to know Dubai through its cultural and historical treasures located in Bur Dubai and Deira districts. This tour will guide you to the sites representing the exciting history of the city.

Your journey will start in Bur Dubai district, at one of the oldest buildings in the city, Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, a well-preserved example of traditional local architecture. After that, if you want to dive deeper into the city's past, you will have a chance to visit a few worthy museums on the way.

Also, you will get to see Dubai Grand Mosque, visit a contemporary art gallery in a stylish boutique hotel, and walk around the historical Al Fahidi neighborhood that keeps the vibe of older times.

To continue the tour in the Deira district, you will cross Dubai Creek by abra, traditional transportation now used as a water taxi. In Deira, you will see the Diwan Mosque, visit one of the most beautiful traditional heritage houses in Dubai, the Museum of the Poet Al Oqaili, and be invited to learn more about Emirati women.

By the end of the tour, you will find yourself smelling spices and traditional oil-based perfumes (and maybe even buying gold!) while going around souks that for sure can be named the soul of rich Arabic culture.
